The Firm is managed by a board consisting of the Managing Partner, Gary Flowers , the General Manager, David Walker and Departmental Managing Partners, John Davis - Government, Anthony Deegan - Business and Desiree Scholz - Insurance.
We are divided into the above three departments based on industry lines. Within each department, we have a number of specialist Practice Groups that report through to the three Departmental Managing Partners. Our Practice Groups are managed as one team across all offices as part of our "One Firm" concept to ensure consistency of service. Our offices are also networked by computer so that they share the same case management strategies and precedents.

Established in 1882, Sparke Helmore is one of Australia`s oldest law firms and is one of the largest in New South Wales. The Firm has in excess of 400 people, including 28 Partners, 40 Senior Associates, 2 Special Counsel and 150 Solicitors employed in offices located in Sydney, Newcastle, Muswellbrook, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.
