Stocks of interest on the Australian Stock Exchange today:

TEN - Ten Network Holdings Ltd - up 24 cents to $4.40.

Ten Network Holdings shares rose more than five per cent yesterday amid rumours it could be the first media company to change hands as a consequence of looming changes to Australia's tough media laws.

NSX - The Newcastle Stock Exchange - up 36 cents to 86 cents.

The Newcastle Stock Exchange stormed on to the ASX yesterday jumping almost 70 per cent ahead of its float price of 50 cents per share.

WMR - WMC Resources Ltd - down six cents to $7.25.

Takeover target WMC Resources yesterday reported record copper production for 2004 and said it was well placed to deliver continued, consistent production across all operations in the year ahead.

FLT - FLIGHT CENTRE LTD - down 12 cents to $18.86
