Australian Hedge Funds Summit 2006
Hedge funds are the fastest growing sector of the financial industry, and yet the least understood by market professionals. The Australian Hedge Funds Summit 2006 aims to offer investors and fund managers a greater understanding of the direction of the industry and provide a guide to new portfolio techniques, asset allocation, performance measurement, product selection in the alternative investment world and new strategies that have so far been confirmed within academic and corporate investment circles will be covered. Local and international speakers will share useful, up-to-date and practical information with the audience who will be encouraged to ask questions and join in on panel session debates. Discussion will cover issues pertaining to hedge funds specifically for the Australian market, and will also deliver perspectives from major financial players in the UK, US and Hong Kong as Asian funds take off and a greater emphasis is being placed on global strategies. Industry leaders will discuss major issues that are affecting the industry as well as educate them on the latest managers, investment strategies, and portfolio construction and due diligence processes.
