Whittens is a medium sized commercial law and corporate consultancy firm. We offer a hybrid of services which focus on three main areas: legal expertise, corporate consultancy and investment banking. We have specialists which deal with each of the areas listed above.
Mr Raymond Whitten- Principal
The firm was founded by Mr Raymond Whitten, the principal of the firm. Mr Whitten has over 30 years experience as a commercial solicitor and has been the chairman of ASX listed companies as well as a director of a number of private companies. The firm is a Nominated Adviser to the Newcastle Stock Exchange.
Mr Whitten holds the following degrees:
Bachelor of Arts (Sydney University 1969)
Bachelor of Laws and Letters ( Sydney University 1972)
Master of Laws (University of Technology, Sydney 1993)
Mr Whitten is an Accredited Specialist in Business Law and is a Notary Public.Mr Whitten is a responsible officer of a Nominated Adviser.
Mr Andrew Whitten- Solicitor
Mr Andrew Whitten is solicitor with a speciality in corporate law. Mr Whitten is currently the company secretary of a public company.
Mr Whitten holds the following degrees:
Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics (UNSW 1998)
Master of Law and Legal Practice, majoring in Corporate Finance and Securities Law (UTS 2001).
Mr Whitten is a responsible officer of a Nominated Adviser.
Mr Michael Cox � Corporate Consultant
Mr Michael Cox has a background in stockbroking and has acted as a corporate consultant in mergers and acquisitions. Mr Cox is a Director of Public Companies.
Mr Cox holds the following qualifications:

A Bachelor of Law and Letters (UTS 1991)
Certificate of Accounting (TAFE 1987)
Diploma of Gemmology (Gemmological Association of Aust 1984)
